Motion You Can Actually Ship

Every developer has bookmarked a dozen award-site pages thinking “I want my landing page to feel like that.” Then you look at the code and it’s a 4,000-line codepen with hardcoded magic numbers, no TypeScript, and animations that fall apart the moment you change the copy.

Kintura’s pitch is the opposite: motion pages with source you can actually own. Drop in, tune the copy, ship Friday.

Every template is:

  • TypeScript-first, Next.js 15 / RSC-ready
  • Tailwind v4 with shadcn parity
  • Available in React and vanilla variants
  • Reduced-motion aware out of the box

The catalog covers landing pages, e-commerce, docs, portfolios, editorial, pricing, and galleries — drops named like typefaces: HELIOS, BAZAAR, ATELIER, COMPENDIUM, SOLSTICE, STRATA, AURORA, VITRINE. One new drop every week, including submissions from external designers who get their name on the card.

Try Before You Buy, Properly

Static screenshots can’t sell motion. So every template runs a live preview at preview.kintura.xyz/<slug>/<stack> — 68 previews total. Hover to watch the motion, toggle between React and vanilla, then decide.

Billing That Matches How People Buy Templates

Nobody wants all 33 templates. Most people want one. So pricing works both ways:

  • Single template — subscribe from its detail page, $25–69/mo depending on the piece
  • All Access — $199/mo for everything plus every future drop

Clerk Billing handles both plan shapes, checkout, renewals, and cancellation. After using it for The Airlock’s boarding passes last month, wiring up per-template subscriptions took a day. The buy button — the part of the Airlock mission that’s non-negotiable — was honestly the easiest part of the build.

The Part I’m Most Excited About: Agent Installs

Installing a template is one command:

npx kintura add strata

Peer deps resolved, Tailwind config merged, files in place. But the CLI is only half of it — Kintura also ships an MCP server. Tell Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf “install the kintura strata template” and the agent does the whole thing hands-free: picks the stack variant, resolves the project structure, merges the config.

I think this is where all template and component businesses are heading. Your customer increasingly isn’t a person browsing a catalog — it’s an agent acting on a one-line instruction. Products that speak MCP get picked; products that require clicking through a dashboard don’t.
